Welcome to the As You Are newsletter! We are so excited you want to follow along with our ministry as we grow and expand. Don’t worry, we promise not to spam your inbox! You can expect to hear from us once a month with some ministry updates and ways you can be praying for our team.

Before we give you any updates from this month, we wanted to introduce ourselves and tell you a little bit about how As You Are got started. We are a team of young women seeking to provide a space for college girls to experience real, intentional community. In 2018 three of our founding members (who at the time, were freshman and sophomores at the University of Georgia) saw a need for and felt a calling to start a Bible Study for the incoming freshman girls. They wanted to make it easy for them to find Christian community and just have a safe place to land in college.

It was out of that Bible Study that As You Are was born! In the fall of 2019, we hosted our first worship night. Since then we have hosted 7 worship nights at 3 different Universities; including the University of Georgia, the University of Alabama and the University of South Carolina. And we are excited to officially announce that this coming fall we will be expanding to the University of North Carolina!

This summer has been full of so many exciting updates! We’ve launched a website, hired two staff members, started recording a podcast and even began writing our own curriculum for Bible Studies! We will have lots more about those updates in the coming months but for now, take a second to explore our new website.
