Hi As You Are Family!
Wow, it' has been an incredible semester - it’s hard to believe our students will be heading home for Christmas soon! This was our first semester with Bible Studies reaching across multiple campuses, as well as doing 4 worship nights within 2 months. We’ve been reflecting on all God is doing through As You Are, and we’re so humbled and in awe of how He works.
In light of all of this exciting growth, we have an important ask. We were previously able to run on or own, but we are moving into a new season where we are in need of financial partners in order to keep up with where the ministry is headed.
We’re looking to build a team of people who want to partner with us and help support As You Are in all sorts of different ways. We would be so grateful if you joined us first and foremost in prayer. It’s the most powerful and important way you can support us.
Our other needs fall all over the board, so if you’re interested in supporting As You Are, there are many ways you can be a part. In short, we are looking for funding for worship nights, prayer and financial support for our staff, and we need spiritual support for our student leaders. We have plans to launch a mentorship program for our leaders and staff that would launch in the new year, and we will need volunteers who are interested in mentoring. We have a dream of taking the leaders on a training retreat, and the list goes on.
We’re praying for direction and provision, and so excited for this next phase of As You Are.
We believe wholeheartedly that nothing of eternal worth happens outside of Christ. We are so passionate about our mission to offer college-aged women access to Bible Study, community, worship events, and new ways to grow their faith, like our As You Are curriculum and our new podcast. And we feel led to keep offering all these things to the students for free.
