Volunteers & Bible study leaders for our first ever worship night in Chapel Hill, NC
Hello As You Are fam!
We have officially entered the holiday season and our team could not be more excited about it! We love all things festive and never want to pass up a chance to celebrate together. But before we step fully into celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas we wanted to take a minute to celebrate everything the Lord has been doing through As You Are these last few months.
On September 28th, we hosted a worship night at the University of South Carolina. This was our third time to Columbia, and it was so sweet seeing familiar faces in the room! We had 82 girls attend and since then our incredible South Carolina team has been hard at work hosting weekly bible studies for the girls at USC.

On October 5th, we hosted our very first As You Are Worship Night at the University of North Carolina!! We brought some of our UGA girls to help volunteer and set up. Going into that night we weren’t sure how many girls to expect, but we were blown away when 125 girls walked through the door! The night was really special - girls were singing at the top of their lungs and hung around afterwards for a long time chatting.

On October 11th, we traveled to Tuscaloosa to host our worship night at the University of Alabama. This was our second time to Tuscaloosa for As You Are, and this time around 110 girls piled into the backyard of one of the BAMA small group leaders. We had no idea what to expect for our first outdoor worship night, but it was so cool! The whole block could hear the worship music and Anna’s talk.

Last but certainly not least, on November 9th, we hosted our sixth worship night at the University of Georgia with 150 girls in attendance. We had acoustic worship with Emily & Michael Harrison, and an incredibly relatable talk from Anna Butler. The girls were so engaged and we just had a blast. Over the last few months our UGA team has been hosting weekly bible studies for each grade and it was so fun to come together as a group. And it was amazing to see a lot of new faces there as well!
